Weekend Roundup
The weather this weekend was PERFECT! Spent lots of time outdoors, walking around and exploring. Friday night we ventured to Hub 51 which is super close. Did you know that everyday b/w 3-6 they have half off sushi? It’s also pretty darn good (and I am a sushi snob). I opted for the vegetarian roll and crab/shrimp roll (both are cooked and ok with my doc)! C is such an adventurous eater- she couldn’t get enough miso soup! Can’t wait for sushi dates with her!
Saturday we ventured to Lincoln Park for some shopping and lunch. We stopped in at Urba Baby -a cute children’s shop. They were celebrating their 1yr anniversary and had crafts and a balloon artist on site. He was amazing & made Charlotte “Elmo”! I scored some Sticky Bellies for Baby Boy & Itzy Ritzy snack pack- highly recommend both!
Funny story- we get to Land of Nod and the Mister and C take off to explore & he tells me to watch the stroller. So I am alone, browsing the store with my stroller and people keep smirking at me. Then this boy stops in front of my stroller and won’t budge. His dad then says “Wow, that’s a great Elmo”. I look to find that my husband has placed Elmo in the stroller and buckled him up. So here I am, pushing around a bugaboo with a fastened balloon Elmo…….hello lunatic! It was pretty funny though!
Yesterday was for the park, grocery shopping, watching the Italy vs. England match, making old school 80’s retro cheesecake (a la Keebler recipe) and Real Housewives.
