Weekend Recap
This weekend we kicked off a month of family visits & birthday celebrations. We were in Michigan to spend time with my in-laws & to drop Maddie off for a few weeks of dog sitting. It was a quick visit but fun filled- the highlights were a family birthday barbecue where Charlotte and my niece played for hours (pool, tree swing, tent, bubbles etc). It was a joy watching them interact & I am excited for them to grow up together…part of the reason why we relocated fromNew York. Seriously though, I have no idea where they get so much energy? I was exhausted watching! 
Charlotte also kept talking about the neighbours horses and carrots and wouldn’t stop until we went over. She enjoyed it for about 5 mins and then kept saying “All done horses”, “All done barn”. The sweet neighbour was really into our impromptu guided tour & it was tough to break away.
