Weekend Recap
Last week was such a blur- a never ending to do list, tonnes of errands, planning for C’s 2nd birthday, house guests and unnecessary last minute drama that keeps cropping up lately from the same source…but I digress. We powered through and had a fantastic time!
Charlotte’s birthday tea party was wonderful! Aside from my “theme” planning, I wasn’t sure how the toddlers would be. They were so into drinking the tea and playing dress up- it was ridiculously cute! Allie, my fabulous friend and fellow tumblr was graciously on hand to celebrate and capture the day. She was wonderful & we cannot wait to see the photos. Will post on all the party planning details/pics soon!
The storm rolled in at the perfect time post-party and we were able to relax a bit while the kids snoozed.
Yesterday we took my nieces and C to Millennium Park to explore and work off some energy before they headed back to MI, then we hit up Nordstrom (yet again) to pick up some last minute Anniversary sale items.
